Independence Day Of Pakistan

14th August Independence day. The struggle for independence was not an easy one. The subcontinent was under British rule for nearly 200 years, during which time the people of the region faced various forms of oppression and exploitation. The idea of a separate nation for Muslims was first articulated by Allama Iqbal in his famous Allahabad address in 1930, where he envisioned a homeland where Muslims could live according to their beliefs and values.
